Description of the clinic
The Reproductive Health (IVF) Center at American Hospital was established in 1996 by a group of four physicians and two embryologists trained in the United Kingdom and Belgium. The center provides comprehensive assisted reproduction services including in vitro fertilization, microinjection (ICSI), intrauterine insemination (IUI), surgical testicular sperm extraction (PESA, TESE), genetic screening and embryo diagnosis, and fertility-protecting treatments including oocyte cryopreservation, embryo cryopreservation, and ovarian tissue cryopreservation. The center also offers diagnosis and treatment of uterine malformations and uterine problems using 3D ultrasound, as well as endoscopic surgery for reproductive conditions. The clinic is one of the first fertility health centers in Turkey and among the pioneers in Istanbul for endoscopic surgery. The center employs a team-based approach combining senior and junior physicians with embryologists and nursing staff.
