Başakşehir Çam ve Sakura Şehir Hastanesi operates a tertiary-level Assisted Reproduction Treatment Center (ÜYTM - Üremeye Yardımcı Tedavi Merkezi) and Infertility Clinic within the D Block Women's and Obstetrics Hospital. The center provides ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination, controlled ovarian hyperstimulation, in vitro fertilization, intracytoplasmic sperm injection, assisted hatching with laser, embryo freezing, and micro-TESE procedures for azoospermic patients. The facility includes 3 examination rooms, 3 operating rooms (2 for oocyte retrieval, 1 for TESE), 1 embryology laboratory with oocyte-sperm-embryo freezing capability, 1 andrology laboratory, 3 sperm collection rooms, 8 patient observation rooms, 1 research laboratory, and 1 seminar room. Equipment includes 1 laminar flow hood, 2 micromanipulators, 3 incubators, and 1 laser device. The center is staffed by 3 certified obstetrician-gynecologists (2 associate professors), 5 certified histology-embryology specialists, 2 andrologists, 2 laboratory technicians, 4 nurses, 1 secretary, 1 patient transport staff, and 1 security personnel. The Infertility Clinic treats anovulation, unexplained infertility, male factor, and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism with insemination and clomiphene citrate-controlled intercourse treatments. Diagnostic and therapeutic services include smear collection and office hysteroscopy. The center accepts patients with or without appointments and provides treatment to those with complete medical records without delay. Services are provided to SGK-insured patients with copayment according to health practice notifications, and to patients outside SGK coverage on a fee-for-service basis.
