Başkent University Istanbul Hospital

Başkent University Istanbul Hospital is a multi-specialty teaching hospital established in 2007, located in Altunizade, Istanbul. The facility includes a main building with 126 inpatient beds across 13,000 m² of indoor space, plus additional capacity at affiliated centers including a Palliative Care Center (21 beds), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (12 beds), Anesthesia and Reanimation Intensive Care Unit (10 beds), Coronary Intensive Care Unit (7 beds), and Cardiovascular Surgery Intensive Care Unit (6 beds). The hospital operates outpatient clinics and a Çekmeköy Dialysis Center with 44 beds. The facility has an Andrology department (Male Sexual and Reproductive Health) led by Prof. Ege Can Şerefoğlu, M.D., offering services related to male reproductive health. The hospital is part of Başkent University's network of 9 hospitals across Turkey and maintains ISO 9001:2015 quality certification. The facility is equipped with modern medical devices and maintains comprehensive quality management systems including calibration units, statistics units, and in-service training programs.
