Description of the clinic
Clínica Mencía is a fertility and gynecology clinic established in 2009 in Salamanca, Spain, with a second location in Plasencia. It is the first assisted reproduction center in Salamanca. The clinic offers comprehensive assisted reproduction services including in vitro fertilization (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), embryo culture with EmbryoScope time-lapse technology, embryo vitrification, and embryo adoption (embryodonation). Additional services include basic infertility studies for both men and women, preconception consultations, genetic compatibility testing, and preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD). The clinic also provides gynecological services including pregnancy monitoring, obstetric care, delivery and cesarean section, and various gynecological procedures. All assisted reproduction treatments are performed in-house without requiring patient transfers.
