Description of the clinic
GIROFIV is an assisted reproduction clinic established in 1997 located in Girona, Spain. The clinic offers a range of fertility treatments including infertility assessment, artificial insemination (with partner sperm and donor sperm), in vitro fertilization (IVF), egg freezing, egg donation, and preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD). The clinic is integrated within Clínica Girona on the second floor and operates its own embryology laboratory. The team includes gynaecologists, embryologists, geneticists, andrologists, psychologists, nurses, and nutritionists. The clinic uses advanced technologies including Embryoscope for real-time embryo monitoring and RI Witness™ for sample traceability. Services also include fertility preservation (semen cryopreservation, testicular tissue cryopreservation, egg vitrification), genetic counseling, carrier screening tests, endometrial studies, and psychological support.
