Hospital de Día Quirónsalud Zaragoza is an outpatient fertility clinic that has been dedicated to assisted reproduction since its establishment. The clinic offers comprehensive reproductive medicine services including in vitro fertilization (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), artificial insemination, preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), embryo vitrification, sperm cryopreservation, and fertility preservation for both men and women. The clinic features specialized units in reproductive biology and genetics, reproductive medicine (gynecology), urology/andrology, and psychological support. Advanced services include genetic compatibility testing, sperm selection techniques (PICSI/MACS), and embryo viability assessment (EEVA) using time-lapse imaging. The clinic has a multidisciplinary team including senior clinical embryologists, embryologists, gynecologists, urologists/andrologists, and psychologists. Historical milestones include establishing the first sperm bank in Aragon in 1992, performing the first ICSI in the region in 1995, achieving the first pregnancy using testicular biopsy sperm in 1997, obtaining the first genetically selected embryo pregnancy in Aragon in 2005, becoming the first center certified for egg vitrification in the community in 2009, and incorporating the EEVA system in 2014.
