The Assisted Reproduction Program (Programa de Reproducció Assistida) is part of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Service at Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, a major teaching hospital in Barcelona. The program is directed by Dra. Ana Polo Ramos and includes a multidisciplinary team of reproductive medicine specialists. The hospital also operates the Functional Reproductive Loss Unit (Unidad Funcional de Pérdida Reproductiva), a specialized unit addressing recurrent pregnancy loss and early reproductive losses through coordinated care involving gynecology, reproductive medicine, endocrinology, immunology, genetics, hematology, biochemistry, clinical psychology, and andrology services. The program maintains an outpatient clinic (ASSIR Guinardó) in addition to the main hospital location.
