Description of the clinic
Hospital Ruber Internacional operates an Assisted Reproduction Institute offering a range of fertility treatments and diagnostic services. The institute provides artificial insemination with partner or donor sperm, conventional in vitro fertilization (IVF) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), preimplantation genetic diagnosis and screening (PGD/PGS), assisted hatching, egg and embryo vitrification, egg donation, and sperm freezing. Diagnostic services include 2D and 3D/4D ultrasound with color doppler, diagnostic hysteroscopy, hormonal and immunological testing, thrombophilia studies, semen analysis with sperm morphology assessment, DNA fragmentation testing, and genetic studies including karyotyping and genetic matching of donors. The institute receives collaboration from the Departments of Andrology, Endocrinology, and Haematology. Advanced services include time-lapse embryo monitoring (EEVA system), annexin columns for sperm selection, and MACS (Magnetic Activated Cell Sorting) technology for sperm selection.
