Description of the clinic
IAKENTRO is a fertility center founded in Thessaloniki in 1998 with locations in Thessaloniki and Athens, Greece. The clinic provides in vitro fertilization (IVF), maternal-fetal medicine, and genetic and molecular biology services. It offers treatments including natural cycle IVF, controlled ovarian stimulation, embryo freezing via vitrification, sperm freezing, testicular tissue cryopreservation, egg freezing, preimplantation genetic screening (PGS), and advanced embryology techniques such as assisted hatching, IMSI, FISH, DNA fragmentation testing, and endometrial receptivity testing (Endotest). The clinic also provides egg donation, sperm donation, and embryo donation programs. Additional services include psychological support for couples and fertility preservation for cancer patients. As of 2026, the clinic is ceasing operations after 30 years, with its cryopreservation bank being transferred to another facility.
