Description of the clinic
Instituto CEFER is a fertility and assisted reproduction clinic operating in Barcelona and Lleida, Spain. The clinic offers in vitro fertilization (IVF), IVF with intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), intrauterine artificial insemination (IUI), egg donation, sperm donation, embryo adoption, fertility preservation, and the ROPA method (shared motherhood). The clinic operates an on-site sperm bank, established in 1977 and described as the first in Spain. The clinic uses Time-Lapse embryo incubation technology (Geri Plus and EmbryoScope systems) for embryo monitoring. Genetic compatibility testing (Compatibility test) is offered to screen for over 310 genetic diseases. The clinic provides psychological support services and has been operating for over 45 years in assisted reproduction techniques.
