Description of the clinic
Kapetanakis is a fertility and reproductive medicine clinic established in the 1980s with 40 years of experience in assisted reproduction. The center offers in vitro fertilization (IVF), ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection), natural cycle IVF, embryo transfer, blastocyst transfer, assisted hatching, MESA-TESE, GIFT, ZIFT, egg donation, uterine surrogacy, egg freezing, embryo freezing, and preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD). The clinic features an on-site embryology laboratory and provides specialized reproductive surgery including laparoscopic procedures and robotic surgery. The center was among the first in Europe to implement IVF and was the first in Greece to perform ICSI, PGD, and successful egg donation in a postmenopausal woman (1989). The clinic treats patients with tubal factor infertility, unexplained infertility, male infertility, endometriosis, hormonal disorders, and advanced maternal age.
