Description of the clinic
The Reproductive Unit of HLA Vistahermosa is a fertility clinic established in 1983, located within the HLA Vistahermosa Hospital in Alicante, Spain. It is part of the UR (Unidad de Reproducción) group and offers comprehensive assisted reproduction services including IVF, ICSI, artificial insemination, egg freezing, sperm preservation, egg donation, embryo donation, and the ROPA method for same-sex couples. The clinic operates on-site embryology and andrology laboratories, a genetics unit, and provides advanced technologies including time-lapse incubators (Embryoscope, Geri, Eeva), preimplantation genetic testing (PGT-A), and specialized techniques such as MACS for sperm selection and Fenomatch for donor matching. The unit is affiliated with the University Miguel Hernández through a special chair in Reproductive Biomedicine and organizes a Master's program in Reproductive Medicine and Genetics. The clinic is authorized for egg and ovarian tissue cryopreservation and operates a biobank for genetic samples.
