Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Head of the Unit of Assisted Reproduction since 1987. Former Director of the First Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at General Hospital 'Alexandra' (2013-2020). Fellow at Harvard Medical School. Elected member of the Executive Committee of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) (2005-2009). Elected President of the Greek Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society (EOGE) since 2016. Over 100 publications in Greek medical journals, 300 in international peer-reviewed journals, and 4500 citations (h-index 33, i10-index 70). Invited speaker at 310 lectures, including 117 at international conferences. Founded the postgraduate program 'Reproductive-Regenerative Medicine' in 2010 and served as its President (2010-2014). Editor of International Journal of Reproductive Medicine, Guest Editor of BioMed Research International, and reviewer for Human Reproduction Update, Fertility and Sterility, and Gynecologic Endocrinology. Member of multiple Greek and international scientific societies.
