About me
Dr. Nikos Kanakas is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Managing Director of Embryoland. He graduated in Medicine from the University of Athens and completed specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1991. He held a Medical Research Council Training Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine at Heidelberg University Medical School (1984-1988), where he completed a PhD. He is a member of ESHRE and ASRM. Since 1991, he has specialized in reproductive medicine. In 2001, he was awarded by the Mayor of Athens for his scientific work related to the birth of 2000 babies via IVF. His team has delivered over 4,000 children. He founded Embryoland in 2007.
