About me
Dr. Sunil Lakhwani was born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife in 1974 and graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of La Laguna (1998). He completed specialist training in Internal Medicine via MIR at Hospital Vall d'Hebron Barcelona (2000-2005) and in Haematology and Haemotherapy via MIR at Hospital Universitario de Canarias (2009-2012). He holds multiple Master's degrees in Tropical Medicine, Molecular Oncology, Haematopoietic Transplantation, and Infectious Diseases. He achieved a doctorate in Health Sciences (2017) and is an Associate Professor at the University of La Laguna since 2014. He combines clinical care, teaching, and research activities.
