About me
Gynecologist Surgeon Şevket Alptürk, the founding director of Doğuş IVF Center, was born in 1959 in Nicosia. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1983 and specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology between 1984 and 1989, completing studies in gynecologic and obstetric ultrasonography, gynecologic endoscopy, microsurgery and colposcopy. In 2001, he became a specialist in IVF treatment through his study on In-Vitro Fertilization and Embryo Transfer Techniques. He has published articles in several local and foreign medical journals and actively works on gynecology, infertility and IVF treatments at Doğuş Hospital, founded in 1991.
