Graduate of National & Capodistrian University of Athens with degree in biology. Holds MSc in reproductive-regenerative medicine from same university. Thesis on role of FSH receptor Ser680Asn polymorphism and AMH values in IVF protocol, published in International Journal of Reproductive Medicine. Long-standing interest in embryology with extensive experience in andrology and embryology laboratories in IVF units in Athens and Thessaloniki. Attended and participated as speaker in various conferences. Member of ESHRE and PEKE (Panhellenic Union of Clinical Embryologists).
