Jonathan is a Consultant urologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in London, specialising in all aspects of male infertility. He works at the Fertility Unit at Hammersmith Hospital and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. He has collaborated on numerous research projects with Carole Gilling-Smith leading to several publications about sperm retrieval and ICSI outcomes. Current research interests focus on men with non-obstructive azoospermia requiring micro-testicular sperm extraction. Jonathan sees patients with male factor infertility in London or at the Agora and undertakes procedures, particularly PESA, by arrangement at the Agora. He has extensive research profile and works with Agora medical and laboratory teams on research including nutrition, weight loss, genital tract infection and DNA fragmentation effects on fertility.
