About me

As a child, I dreamed of becoming a pediatrician. However, circumstances at the workplace led me toward medical genetics after completing my pediatric qualification. I have devoted myself to this field with passion for over 10 years. Although clinical genetics work is often psychologically demanding, the complexity of this specialty and the need to solve novel and unique situations are a great source of inspiration for me. There is no need to fear genetics-each of us is unique, and that is what makes life beautiful. Professional memberships: Czech Medical Society of Jan Evangelista Purkyně, Society of Medical Genetics and Genomics. Qualifications: First-degree attestation in pediatrics and attestation in medical genetics.
