About me

Vít Weinberger has been Head of the OB-GYN Clinic at Brno University Hospital since 2020. He teaches and leads research projects at the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University. His specialty is oncogynecology, focusing on expert ultrasound diagnostics and radical oncogynecological surgery. He assists the Reproductive Medicine team in diagnosing and treating severe endometriosis and reproductive pathologies. He completed general medicine at MU Brno, obtained his PhD, and habilitated in 2019. He completed long-term clinical placements at Oncogynecological Center Leuven in Belgium and Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Gateshead, UK. He is a member of the Czech Gynecological and Obstetric Society Committee, Expert Group of the Czech Ultrasound Society in Gynecology and Obstetrics, and the Oncogynecology Section Committee. He founded the Proni Foundation supporting the OB-GYN Clinic's development.
