About me
Prof. Dr. Teksen Çamlıbel founded the first private IVF center in Turkey and the first IVF center in Istanbul, giving birth to Turkey's first IVF baby. She graduated from Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine and completed residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Medical College of Ohio. She completed upper specialization in Gynecologic Oncology at Albany Medical College of New York. In 1985, she founded the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Marmara University. The IVF center she founded in 1989 was among the first practitioners of ICSI technology and laparoscopic surgeries in Turkey.
