Sonal started her career at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and has since worked in various hospitals both in the UK and abroad, before bringing her wide range of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to Fertility Exeter in 2017. Sonal completed her graduate studies in Mumbai with distinction and then went on to London to attain her MRCOG and DFSRH. She is a Tier 2 Medical Educator approved by the RCOG. She is actively involved in teaching and training as a tutor for University of Exeter Medical school and trainer for Specialist Nurses in ultrasound scanning and performing assisted conception procedures. She is the coordinator for the satellite programme for the pre-implantation genetic testing service run between Fertility Exeter and Guys and St Thomas Hospital London. She has presented at several national and international meetings and has won Poster Prize at the European congress of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in May 2014.
