Description of the clinic
The Shropshire and Mid Wales Fertility Centre is an NHS Assisted Conception Centre established in 1991, part of the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospitals NHS Trust. Located at Severn Fields Health Village in Shrewsbury, the centre offers assisted conception treatments to both NHS and privately funded patients. Services include infertility investigations (follicle tracking, semen analysis, hormonal assessment), ovulation induction, intra-uterine insemination (IUI), donor insemination (DI), in-vitro fertilisation (IVF), intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), donor egg IVF, egg-share IVF, frozen embryo transfer (FET), and surgical sperm retrieval (PESA/TESE). The centre operates with a multidisciplinary team including doctors, scientists, nurses, and support staff, and maintains close links with Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and Princess Royal Hospital, Telford.
