Consultant Clinical Embryologist & Andrologist with 25 years' experience in the field. Head of Fertility Services and HFEA Person Responsible, taking legal responsibility for all work in the Centre. Visiting Professor at University of Chester and University Centre Shrewsbury. Organisational Lead Scientist for Shrewsbury and Telford Hospitals NHS Trust. Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists and co-author of the college's HSST curriculum in Reproductive Science. Chair of the Association of Clinical Embryologists and past Chair of joint executive committees of ACE, British Fertility Society and Society for Reproduction and Fertility. External advisor to HFEA, director and examiner for Association of Clinical Scientists, member of AHCS professional council. Led development of Shropshire and Mid-Wales Fertility centre, introducing IVF on-site at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital in 2003 and moving to new purpose-built facilities at Severn Fields. Special interests in fertility preservation, aetiology of infertility and non-invasive maximisation of embryo developmental potential.
