About me

Ioannis Michalopulos is a Consultant Gynaecologist specializing in infertility. He received his specialty training from Alexandra Maternity Hospital and subsequently trained in Boston at the Faulkner Centre for Reproductive Medicine, Harvard Medical School. He is specialized in assisted reproduction and in vitro fertilization, both clinically and in reproductive biology laboratory work. He is a founding member of the Unit of Reproductive Medicine, having worked as head of the IVF unit at Mitera (1995-1999) and continues to work at Maternity Hospital Lito. He is committed to the philosophy of an 'open IVF unit,' promoting new colleagues in assisted reproduction. He has participated in numerous conferences and studies, presented lectures, and chaired conferences on infertility.
