Description of the clinic
The Reproductive Medicine Unit (Μονάδα Αναπαραγωγικής Ιατρικής) is a fertility clinic established in 1999, located in Athens at G. Anastasios 8, within the Lito Maternity Hospital. The clinic offers comprehensive assisted reproduction services including cycle monitoring, intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF) with natural cycle and mild stimulation protocols, embryo culture and transfer, preimplantation genetic testing, gamete donation (sperm and egg), surrogacy services, and cryopreservation of eggs, sperm, and embryos. The laboratory is equipped with continuous embryo monitoring technology (time-lapse imaging/Embryoscope), advanced sperm analysis and processing techniques, and vitrification for cryopreservation. The clinic operates with a quality management system certified to ISO 9001:2008 and EN 15224:2012 standards. It is officially licensed as a medically assisted reproduction unit and cryopreservation bank by the national authority.
