About me
Rachel graduated from Glasgow University in 1994 with BSc (Hons) in Anatomy. She began her career in Immunology, working on development of diagnostic cancer markers. Rachel moved to embryology, initially working for the London Women's Group in 1999, then Gateshead Fertility since 2006. She became state registered Clinical Scientist with the Health Care and Professions Council in 2004 and Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists (part 1). She has been an embryologist for over 20 years, contributing to growth and development of the fertility service. Rachel has a special interest in particularly challenging technical procedures.
